Grab your favorite ruler, or one of Darla's suggestions in the Welcome email, and get started on learning how to free-motion quilt with a ruler! Darla will be teaching how to plan and quilt stitch-in-the-ditch, how to "echo quilt" with your favorite ruler, cross-hatching, and other filler motifs to help you fill in different blocks using a ruler. Straight and curved rulers will be demonstrated. This class is designed for advanced beginners to intermediate quilters looking to expand their free motion skills on a Longarm. It's designed for you to quilt along. Dive into Free Motion Quilting with the award-winning Longarmer Darla Hall! Darla has been quilting on her Longarm, lovingly named Frankie, for 16 years! She has quilted for clients all over the United States, quilted 6 Best of Show quilts, and has been hired by quilt shops and pattern designers to quilt their featured quilts. This class is designed as a stand-alone class, however, it is one of a three-part series. Feel free to book just this class or the full series. The class will be hosted live over Zoom and recorded so that you can receive immediate feedback and reference the classes as needed. A minimum of 3 students will be required for the class to take place, with a Maximum of 10 students, allowing the instructor to give individual attention where needed.
